2007 Star Garnet Reserve

For those of you who already know our Star Garnet blend, this is the Reserve Star Garnet blend in which we’ve experimented over and over several days throughout the past year to see what varietals & percentages come together and create a harmonious balance of what they have to offer. Full-bodied and boasting complexities only a blend of Cabernet Sauv., Malbec and Petit Verdot could create. Only one barrel made.
2008 Reserve Pinot Noir

This is a very well-balanced Pinot Noir, delicate enough to appreciate the subtleties yet boasting some body and umph! Slightly earthy yet youthful and fruit-forward. Our favorite barrel out of 36 barrels. Only 25 cases produced.
2007 Petit Verdot
- Region: Snake River Valley
- Variety: Petit Verdot (Red)
Full-bodied and complex! Big blueberry aromas…slightly earthy. Wonderful with steak. Very limited production. Only 2 barrels made.
2009 Viognier

Fruit-forward, medium bodied, backbone of tannins with nice acidity…a wonderful food wine.

Not your boring Merlot! Full-bodied and full of character. Luscious velvety tannins and dark berries. A touch of vanilla.
2007 Syrah
- Variety: Syrah (Red)
Spicy and sassy, this Syrah is superb with BBQ’d meats. Full-bodied and bursting with ripe fruit and solid tannins.
2009 Muscat Canelli
- Region: Snake River Valley
- Variety: Muscat (Dessert)
Oh so delicious with its enticing bouquet….full of citrus character: oranges, tangerines and clementine – oh my! Sweet at a RS of 5% balanced with great acidity and crisp, not cloying! Last year, this Muscat sold out in 1 month! Very limited production. 375 mL.
2008 Raging Rapids Riesling (late harvest)

Technically, not an ice wine as it is not quite as sweet, but a dessert wine. Sweet nectar flavors….tastes like a peach cobbler! A delicous after-dinner dessert wine.
2007 Malbec

Man’s Best Friend Malbec

light tropical flavors and aromas make this wine a best seller year after year. Notions of honey & strawberries balance beautifully with the acidity, creating a slightly-sweet easy drinking wine. Serve chilled.
2008 Chardonnay

An outstanding growing season for Chardonnay. Picked in late September, the grapes were ripe and balanced. Aged for 9 months in oak barrels creating aromas ranging from vanilla to hazelnut to butterscotch. fruit flavors contribute to a harmonious, well-balanced finish.

2008 White Riesling

The wonderful nose right off the bat foreshadows the delicious qualities of this Riesling. Extremely fragrant and aromatic – nectar, sweet apricots & fruitiness with fresh acidity shining through until the end.
2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

From an Idaho grape grower’s standpoint, global warming has had the most positive impact on Bordeaux-type grapes such as this Cab. Our style of winemaking is to make our Cabs more subdued, less tanic and more drinkable in its youth. Medium to full bodied. cherry, raspberries, black currents. fresh bell peppers, minty. Hints of vanilla.
